Joseph B. Tiboni, Esq

Our firm was founded in 1995 by Joseph B. Tiboni, Esq., a graduate of Dickinson College, Carlisle, PA in 1988, and Seton Hall School of Law, Newark, NJ in 1993, where he was a member of the Seton Hall Law Review. After law school, Mr. Tiboni served as a judicial law clerk for the the Honorable Carol A. Ferentz, P.J.Civ., Superior Court of New Jersey, Law Division. Past President of the Summit Bar Association.

Joseph brings his vast twenty-five years of experience to  Tiboni & Tiboni, and devotes a substantial part of his practice to estate planning, elder law, special needs planning, guardianship litigation, trust terminations, as well as other elder and disability law matters. He was active in the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys as well as the Estate Planning Council of Northern New Jersey.

Joseph’s commitment to issues of trusts and estates, as well as the elderly, is underscored by his high-level involvement and memberships in like-minded organizations such as the State of New Jersey Bar Association, Estate and Elder law Section. A fun fact is that Joseph was co-writer of a major motion picture, Win Win with Academy Award winning Director Writer, Tom McCarthy.

Jane Carro Tiboni, Esq.

Jane Carro Tiboni earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia and her Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University’s School of Law.  After law school, she served in a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Graham T. Ross of the Superior Court of New Jersey.

Jane devotes a substantial portion of her practice to Elder Law, Estate Planning and Administration, Medicaid Planning, Medicaid Applications, and Special Needs Law.  She also has expertise in handling Guardianship proceedings for incapacitated young adults and seniors.  

Jane previously served as President of the Somerset County Bar Association, as well as, a former Trustee for the Somerset County Bar Foundation.  Currently, she is a member of the Elder Law Committee of the Somerset County Bar Association and served as its past chair.  Jane also is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Elder Law Committee.  New Jersey Family Magazine recognized her as one of “New Jersey’s Best Lawyers for Families 2019” in the areas of Elder Law, Estate Planning, Special Education and Special Needs law.
